Lo speech mira a fornire una panoramica sull'applicazione reale della
computer forensics.
Si tratterà delle differenze tra le richieste effettuate dalle forze dell'ordine e da clienti privati, del modus operandi da tenersi durante tutta la durata delle indagini, in ciascuna delle sue fasi.
Infine ci sarà una disamina tecnica e si farà il punto della situazione riguardo alla tecnologia disponibile al momento.

Andrea Ghirardini spent most of his time testing enterprise level information systems at Sodalia - a company, started as a joint-venture between Telecom Italia and Bell Atlantic. He also has solid background in projecting and building open source-based software solutions, security "ad-hoc" systems based on netfilter, ipf/pf/ipfw, squid.
He has more than 6 years of specific IT security experience, working with solutions from Checkpoint, Axent (now Symantec), CA, IBM and others.
During the last 8 years, he focused his interests on Computer Forensics, working on +300 cases, in cooperation with national and international Law Enforcement Authorities. He his the author of the book
"Computer Forensics" edited by Apogeo (2007)
